Ptosis, Septoplasty, and Rhinoplasty: Surgeries and Insurance

The Premises of Ophthalmology: Surgeries and Insurance

A few of our recent assignments have been around the premises of Ophthalmology, eye surgeries, and associated insurance coverages. To be more precise, we have been writing medical/academic articles on Ptosis, Blepharophimosis Syndrome, the associated eyelid drooling effects, and “lift” surgeries. As an extension, we have also drafted blogs on advanced eye care and preventive nutritional tweaks. Heading forward, we even worked on projects that dealt in Cosmetic Eye Surgery insurance and claims.

Nasal Obstruction and Hiccup Disorders

We have also written on avenues of Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty.

Septoplasty is corrective surgery opted by persons with specific hiccups or hurdles. The septum is a wall composed of bone and cartilage that divides your nose into two separate nostrils. A deviated septum occurs when the septum is displaced to one side of the nose. Most people with a deviated septum have one nasal passage that is significantly smaller than the other. A deviated septum is the most common septum defect, and surgery is the only way to fix it.

Rhinoplasty, on the other hand, is surgery to reshape the nose. A patient undergoing Rhinoplasty could make the nose larger or smaller; change the angle of the nose in relation to the upper lip; alter the tip of the nose; or correct bumps, indentations, or other defects in the nose.

We have written close to 70+ posts on various eye ailments, allergies, eye infections, Graves’ disease and ocular herpes, non-surgical / non-invasive treatments, precautionary measures, major risks associated with Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty surgeries and coverages in health insurance plans (HealthPartners Reconstructive Policy Criteria).
